Staff Member Manager Thomas

RESTAURANT MANAGER

We’re actively seeking dedicated Restaurant Managers to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering an outstanding dining experience at our restaurant.

As a Restaurant Manager, your key responsibilities encompass:

  • Ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Managing day-to-day restaurant operations, staff scheduling, inventory, and quality control.
  • Leading and motivating the team.
  • Training and developing staff.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.
  • Building guest relationships, addressing concerns, and seeking feedback.
  • Financial management, monitoring costs, including inventory, labour, and operational expenses.
  • Collaborating with the culinary team for smooth coordination.
  • Staying updated on industry trends.

ASSISTANT MANAGER

We’re in search of Assistant Managers who are passionate about delivering top-notch food and beverage service in a fast-paced environment. Operating in a bustling venue, our team takes pride in their ability to thrive under pressure.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following qualities and experience:

  • Upholding high-quality service standards.
  • Possessing excellent verbal communication and time management skills.
  • Maintaining composure in a fast-paced setting.
  • Leading, rostering, and training the front-of-house team.
  • Managing labour costs, reporting, and effectively handling high-volume periods and peak service times with the team.
  • Monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and conducting monthly stock takes.
  • Overseeing reservations and cultivating relationships with regular guests.
  • Providing confident advice on the menu and wine selections, with excellent product knowledge being essential; a background in wine is a bonus.
  • Collaborating with the kitchen on menus, events, daily run-sheets, and service.
  • Demonstrating experience in managing functions and special offsite events.

CHEF DE PARTIE

For the Chef de Partie role, we’re looking for someone who can bring a mix of essential qualities and experiences to our kitchen. If you have an eye for detail, love cooking, and are keen on making delicious Crêpes, you might be the perfect fit for our team.

The ideal candidate would demonstrate the following qualities and experience:

  • Great attention to detail, with a high standard of cooking and presentation.
  • Passionate about food.
  • Experience preparing Crêpes and Galettes.
  • Charismatic, positive, enthusiastic, and a great team player.
  • Have a desire to pursue a career in the hospitality industry.
  • Possess knowledge of food safety procedures and other compliance obligations.
  • Experience ordering supplies and managing stocks in collaboration with the Head Chef.

BARISTA

We’re looking for an experienced barista who is passionate about serving our guests quality food and beverages in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate would demonstrate the following qualities and experience:

  • Preparing and serving beverages such as coffee, tea and specialty beverages.
  • Preparing and serving alcoholic drinks.
  • Cleaning and sanitising work areas, service and seating areas, utensils and equipment.
  • Confidently describe menu items and suggest products to customers.

CHEF

We’re looking for people who are passionate about food, and providing our guests with delicious French cuisine.

The ideal candidate would demonstrate the following qualities and experience:

  • Attention to detail, with a high standard of cooking and presentation.
  • Have experience in a Crêpe restaurant or similar and be confident in the kitchen.
  • Have a strong passion for food and french cuisine.
  • Be charismatic, positive, enthusiastic, and a great team player.
  • Have a desire to pursue a career in the hospitality industry.
  • Possess knowledge of food safety procedures and other compliance obligations.
  • Dealing with providers (with an eye on optimising costs)
  • Ordering supplies and managing stocks
  • Training staff in how to prepare Crêpes and Galettes.
  • Enjoy making Crêpes (you’re going to be making a lot of them!)

KITCHEN ATTENDANT

We’re looking for part-time and casual kitchen attendants who are passionate about supporting our chefs in preparing delicious, high quality food for our guests.

Role and responsibilities can be described as but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods.
  • Ensuring the restaurant is clean and safe.
  • Undertaking tasks such as inventory on a quarterly basis.
